Childs Play ZA – Product Protection, Usage & Returns Policy
At Childs Play ZA, we take pride in supplying high-quality products and ensuring that all items are carefully checked before they reach our customers. This policy applies to all products sold, including (but not limited to) electronic toys, talking dolls, sound books, watches, clocks, baby cot mobiles, Quran Cube products, Desi Doll products, and all similar items.
1. Quality Control & Testing
All applicable electronic items are:
• Tested for full functionality
• Charged (where required)
• Inspected for defects or faults
Only items that pass our quality control process are dispatched. This ensures that products are in working condition at the time they leave us.
2. Customer Responsibility & Proper Use
Once the item has been delivered, customers are responsible for:
• Using the correct chargers, cables, and voltage specifications
• Following standard and safe charging practices
• Handling items with care during setup and use
Childs Play ZA is not responsible for damage or malfunction caused by:
• Incorrect or high-voltage chargers
• Improper charging methods
• Physical damage, mishandling, or user error
3. First-Time Use & Charging
For all electronic products, we strongly recommend:
• Using only compatible or supplied charging accessories
• Avoiding fast chargers or adapters unless specified
• Charging devices correctly before first use
Improper handling during the first charge may result in performance issues or damage, for which Childs Play ZA cannot be held liable.
4. Faulty on Arrival (FOA)
If you believe an item is faulty upon arrival:
• You must notify us within 24–48 hours of delivery
• Clear video or photographic evidence must be provided
• The item must not show signs of misuse, damage, or incorrect charging
All items will be assessed before any resolution is offered.
5. Returns & Exchange Policy
• No returns are accepted on any products.
• Exchanges are only considered under limited circumstances, such as receiving a duplicate item.
For an exchange to be considered:
• The item must be unused
• In original, sealed packaging
• In perfect condition with no damage
All exchanges are subject to approval at the sole discretion of Childs Play ZA.
6. Courier & Delivery Disclaimer
Childs Play ZA ensures that all items are securely packaged before dispatch. However:
• We are not responsible for any damage caused during transit by courier services
• Any claims for damaged parcels must be taken up directly with the courier company
We recommend inspecting your parcel upon delivery and reporting visible damage immediately to the courier.
7. General Disclaimer
Childs Play ZA will not be held liable for:
• Damage after delivery
• Misuse or improper handling
• Use of incompatible accessories
• Normal wear and tear
